Well I download Battlefeild 3 on my ps3 and it took over 2 hours then I started playing multi-player with people I didn't know but this won't cost me on my internet bill or anything will it?|||Nope its a free open public beta for them to fix bugs and see what the community thinks|||Well, the beta it self is FREE.
However, if your ISP charges you per downloads, or if you have already reached the number of gb you can download and you need to pay more to download over your limit, you may incur fees.
However, the BF3 beta is free in it self.|||nope its absolutely free, hurry it ends in 4 days|||for the low low price of...FREE!!!

Will the Battlefield 3 Beta be available to the general public?
I know it comes out in September but can anyone get it are do you have to had pre ordered the game|||You have to have either pre-ordered the game, or bought Medal of Honor. They might give out some free codes, but it's not a fully open beta.
Of course, there's nothing saying that you can't pre-order the game, get into the beta, then cancel the pre-order if you don't like it.|||"The Battlefield 3 Open Beta will be available to all, on all platforms, in September."

Usually MMOs are the only ones I know of where you can just sign up and hopefully get an e-mail.|||I think at E3 they said the beta will be open in September..

Is anyone else but me experiencing a purple flash screen thing on the battlefield 3 beta?
it flashes for a second and then disappears, is anyone else experiencing it?|||I've had green, blue, black and even orange once. Not purple though :(

i have medal of honour limited edition and i'm waiting for the beta to be released. how do i join the beta, and when is the beta released? thanks.|||You will get an email, As for the beta no one really knows but we have guessed these dates 16th 20th 25th 27th of september. Sorry i cant give you an exact date.

Do I Need an Xbox Live Membership to Play the Battlefield 3 Beta?
Or is it possible to play with a free membership?|||u dont need medal of honor but u do need a gold membership (not free membership) if u get it just look under demos and its there its glitchy but still uber fun.|||For one you need a Medal of Honor disc, and im assuming you do need Gold since your playing against other people. If you don't want to spend money for gold if you don't have it, make a new GP on LIVE and press "don't do gold" or whatever its called to get a free month of gold.|||if you have an gold account you should be able to!
