Will the Battlefield 3 Beta be available to the general public?

I know it comes out in September but can anyone get it are do you have to had pre ordered the game|||You have to have either pre-ordered the game, or bought Medal of Honor. They might give out some free codes, but it's not a fully open beta.

If you had bought new copy Medal of Honor Limited Edition or buy Battlefield 3 from Origin then you get 48 hour early access.|||I have yet to see a game like Battlefield where you can enter the beta without preordering or doing something special. Usually MMOs are the only ones I know of where you can just sign up and hopefully get an e-mail.|||I think at E3 they said the beta will be open in September..
